About Me:

Rabbi Jeff Foust is deeply grounded in both the formal aspects of Jewish tradition and in the inner spiritual fire that brings it to life. He is a long time student and teacher of Kabbalah for our day to day world (embodied spirituality) emphasizing the integration of the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and material aspects of our lives.

I am a Board Certified Chaplain and the Jewish Advisor  and Mindfulness Meditation Coordinator for the  Spiritual Life Center at Bentley University. One of my special gifts is teaching dovenology (how to make prayer and spiritual practice real and meaningful). Central to my work at Bentley is to help create a welcoming mutually life affirming space for people from all backgrounds and orientations. In recognition of this work, in 2017 the university awarded me their EarI Avery Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Award. Rounding out my background are many years of experience as a congregational rabbi, pastoral care chaplain, and teacher of Jewish spirituality for young and old.
